Latest Solar Technology Makes a Big Impression on Delaware
Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) September 27, 2009 — Suntricity Power Corporation (SGCLLC) (http://www.SuntricityPower.com) installed the first Tri-State Installation of the Micro-inverter System in New Castle County, Delaware in 2008. The revolutionary system uses multiple small inverters instead of a large centralized inverter to distribute the electricity of a solar electric system for homes or businesses. It was the first installation of a Micro-inverter System in the Tri-State Area. Since last year the market has grown, with Suntricity Power contracting over 500kW of Residential installations in the region with the bulk located in Delaware.
The production for this installation can be viewed over a private link through registration at the company websitewww.SuntricityPower.com. Suntricity Power is also planning on demonstrating this new technology throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania Home Shows this Fall. Suntricity Power now serves all three counties of Delaware, as well as New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They provide free feasibility studies to evaluate if a Suntricity Power Station would work at your home or business.
Shorty USA Airsoft Tags Suntricity Power to Help Green Up!
Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) December 23, 2009 — Suntricity Power Corporation (SGCLLC) (http://www.suntricitypower.com) and Shorty USA Airsoft (http://www.ShortyUSA.com) have teamed up to create the first Solar Self- Sustaining Online Retailer. Shorty USA is America’s largest and best known Retailer for Airsoft Guns. To Match Shorty USA’s reputation, they chose Suntricity Power, America’s Solar Choice. Suntricity Power specializes in high yield solar installations using the latest solar technology. This installation will be the largest microinverter installation for a online retailer in the region. Suntricity Power completed the first tri-state installation of a high yield system in New Castle County, Delaware in 2008.
The Suntricity Power Station (http://www.suntricitypower.com) for Shorty USA was designed to cover 100% of the energy requirements for the online retailer, using solar equipment manufactured with American labor. The choice to use an American Product line increased the system cost slightly, however Dave Smyth President of Shorty USA (http://www.ShortyUSA.com) felt it was the responsible alternative since we are using US Treasury Funds and Delaware Energy Rebates. The system will also use the latest per panel monitoring so at any time you can see exactly what every solar panel is producing via the web. During the day, the extra energy produced will assist Delmarva Power by supplying energy to their neighbors on Albe Drive, in Newark, Delaware. The system will be paid for with the assistance of both Delmarva Energy Grants and a United States Treasury Grant. These grants have been put to work creating jobs in Delaware and generating clean renewable energy.
Suntricity Power Brings $1M in State Rebates
Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) October 4, 2009 — Suntricity Power Corporation (SGCLLC) (http://www.suntricitypower.com) installed the first Tri-State Installation of the Micro-inverter System in New Castle County, Delaware in 2008. Since last year the market has grown, with Suntricity Power contracting over 550kW of Residential installations in the region with the bulk located in Delaware.
Suntricity Power has just passed the $1,000,000.00 dollar mark in total grants reserved for residential Solar Energy in Delaware. These grants have been put to work creating jobs in Delaware and generating clean renewable energy. “The recent cuts in the rebate structure throughout the state have not cooled off the residential solar market in Delaware,” said Mark Hall, a Suntricity Power Project Developer. Recent price decreases in the solar panel market have made up for the declines in state rebates.
Solar panels bring energy savings for Smyrna couple
Dean and Ann Laumbach of Smyrna have found an innovative way to escape rising energy costs – solar power. The Laumbachs recently installed 16 solar panels on the roof of their home on Boxwood Drive in Smyrna’s Gardenside neighborhood. Considering the age of the country’s electrical grid and the rising cost of electricity, the Laumbachs decided to pursue alternative energy.Since activating the solar panels in late July, they’ve been generating their own power.
“To me, it seems the ideal way to relieve some of the pressures on the grid system,” Mr. Laumbach said. “We believe this is probably the wave of the future, between the sun and the wind, which is always here,” added Mrs. Laumbach.
