The weakest link in the solar array is the inverter. Most inverters carry a standard warranty of 5 years upgrade able for a fee to 10 or 15 years. The extra fee means you are buying a replacement today.

The other likely problem within the array is the module failure and mismatched modules. The module failure is difficult to catch in a classic string inverter system even with system monitoring and all of the telemetry required.
